First Day of 1st Grade!!

Here are some photos of Wyatt on his first day of 1st grade.  We drove him to school that morning and went out back to meet his teacher.  She got hired on a couple of days before school started and we didn't get to meet her at the open house.  She is very nice.  The first morning of school was kind of crazy.  They get off the bus, head to the back of the school, find a cone with their teachers name on it, they get to play for a few minutes, when the whistle blows they line up and head in to class.  Wyatt even wanted to eat school lunch that day which was mozzarella bread sticks.  He said they were yummy.  He has had a hard time adjusting to the schedule of school.  He is still trying to get used to being at school all day.

Family Hike!!

Just before school started we went for a hike up in American Fork Canyon to an area called Cascade Springs.  It was really neat.  They were springs that we went by and trails to walk on.  It was a quick hike because it started to sprinkle.  It was a fun outing.

Swimming!!

My friend Hillary invited us to go swimming with them up at her mom's house.  It was so much fun.  Wyatt had a blast.  He was nervous at first but once he was in the water for a bit he did awesome.  He wore a life jacket to swim around on his own.  He went down the inflatable water slide a few times.  He also got brave enough to jump off of the diving board.  Hillary helped catch him at first and then he went off all by himself.  That was his favorite part.  He kept jumping off of the diving board again and again.  Wyatt ended up swimming for almost 3 hours.  Thanks to Hillary and her mom for letting us come up and swim.

Wyatt Riding His Bike Without Training Wheels!!

Here is a video of Wyatt riding his bike without training wheels finally.  He does great going, turning and stopping but he is still trying to figure out how to get going by himself.  He has been having a blast without his training wheels off.  He is trying to steady himself but he does a great job.

Hill Air Force Base Museum!!

Last week we went camping with my parents.  The motor home wasn't quite ready to go so we decided to swing by the Hill Air Force Base Museum to see all of the different kinds of planes they have there.  It was really fun.  Wyatt was amazed at how big the planes and the wheels were.  Here are a couple of pictures I took while we were there.

Kids Playing in the Water!!

Here is a picture of Wyatt, his best friend Justin and his friend Maggie playing in the water in our back yard.  They had a fun time.
