Pumpkin Song!!

Here is another fun song that they sang at the Halloween preschool program today.  It was so fun.  I am suprised at how many songs they sang today!!  It was awesome and fun to watch Wyatt sing and have a great time!!  He sang so well.  They had a fun Halloween day today.  He said that they got to watch a video today about the Monster Mash as well.

Wyatt Singing!!

Halloween Preschool Program!!

Here is a video of Wyatt at his preschool program singing a song.  He did awesome this year and sang all of the songs.  It was fun to watch him!!  He has been looking forward to Halloween for the last few weeks.

Program!!

Here is a video of Wyatt at his preschool program today.  This is when his teacher had him come out and say howdy since he is a cowboy.  It was so cute!!

Pumpkins!!

Here are some photos of our pumpkins.  The largest pumpkin was from my parents garden.  Wyatt chose the largest one this year of course.  All of the smaller pumpkins that are carved and decorated, are the pumpkins that we grew in our garden this year.  We ended up with 18 pumpkins this year and were happy to share them along to our friends.

Halloween Pictures!!

Wyatt wanted to be Sheriff Woody this year for Halloween!!  He has been so excited to get everything ready for his costume.  He borrowed the vest and sheriff badge from his friend Justin.  He has been wearing his cowboy hat, vest, bandana and gun all week.  It is so fun for him to be so excited for Halloween!!

Wyatt's New Pet!!

Today we picked up a new pet for Wyatt.  It is a fancy russian dwarf hampster.  We have named it Dexter.  Wyatt is so excited to have a pet.  We told him today that we would take him to the Pet Store to see what they had after we ran some errands.  When I went to get Wyatt and Doug after I had a pedicure today Wyatt grabbed the car keys and Doug's wallet and said "Okay let's go".  He was ready to go all day.  He said that the hampster we got was cute.  He chose this one.  He looked at quite a few of them and he kept coming back to this one.  He held on to the portable box that they give you to take a pet home in from the pet store all the way home.  He kept saying that he got a new pet.  He has been excited all night.  We are keeping Dexter in his room.  He keeps checking in on him to see how he is doing.  He wants us to be in with him at all times to check on Dexter with him.  He has been so excited to have a pet.  He has been asking for months to get a pet.  I think Doug and I are a bit crazy for getting something like this but we will see how it goes.  Some of the pictures aren't that great because the hampster kept moving on me but it gives the general idea of what he looks like.  We are on to our next adventure.

Wyatt Found A Toad!!

These are some photos of a toad that Wyatt and his friend Justin found in one of our window wells over the summer.  It was so crazy.  Wyatt came running up to me one night and said that he found a frog.  At first I didn't really believe that he had found a frog but he did.  I can't believe that we had a real toad in our window well.  Amazingly enough the toad didn't get hurt falling down our deep window well.  I was the one who had to go and retrieve him from the window well as well.  Doug didn't want to touch it.  When I was trying to take the toad outside it jumped out of my hands at one point in the house and was jumping all over our stairs.  It is was funny.  He started croaking as well.  We let him go on the lawn but Doug was mowing that night so we let the toad loose in the garden.  We have no idea where it ended up.  It was quite the adventure this summer.

Fall Leaves!!

Here are some pictures of us up in American Fork Canyon.  We go up every year in the fall to see the leaves changing colors.  We always love the red leaves.  It is so fun to see.  We were barely able to catch some of the last sunlight with these photos.

Wyatt's First Day of Preschool!!

This is a picture of Wyatt on his first day of preschool.  His teacher this year is Teacher Nisha.  He started school on August 31st this year.  He is enjoying it so far.  Today he has been singing Halloween songs that they will be doing at the Halloween Costume Parade at school.  He is learning so much.  He has learned how to cut squares of paper on his own and then paste them to match patterns for homework he has worked on.  He is getting smarter all the time.  He knows so much.  It is great to watching him learn all the time.
