Another Jump On It Video!!

Here is another video from Jump On It.  Wyatt had a hard time with the big trampolines on the wall.  He eventually found some smaller trampolines in another area that were smaller that he could jump off of.  He had a blast and kept asking Doug to chase/catch up with him as he jumped around on all of the trampolines.

Jump On It!!

We decided to go to Jump On It as a family activity for something to do one night while Wyatt has been on his Christmas break from school.  It was fun to go.  Doug and Wyatt jumped around and I watched and recorded.  They seemed to have a great time.  Doug was definitely a bit sore the next day though.

Christmas!!

Wyatt and Doug reading a letter from Santa.

When Wyatt got up Christmas morning he ran to this table where the cookies and milk were left for Santa and some carrots for the reindeer.  Notice the plates.  This is how he knew that Santa had come.  He was so excited to see that the cookies were gone.  He kept screaming "Santa Came".  So much fun.

Here are some photos of Christmas this year.  We were all definitely spoiled this year.  Doug and I got ourselves some mountain bikes so we can go riding with Wyatt.  We didn't put those under the tree though.  As soon as I got home with them Wyatt was so excited and insisted that we go for a bike ride.  So we used them a bit early while the weather was still good.  Doug and I got new shoes, Wyatt got lots of new pj's, remote control cars, art supplies, paper, play dough, Cars 2 Trouble game, Cars 2 Wii game, Mario & Sonic Winter Olympics wii game, Mater Tales wii game, some movies, a dump truck, etc.  Doug and I also got some new clothes, Doug got some videos and Wipe out 3 wii game which Wyatt loves.  He has played it constantly since Christmas.  We were very blessed this year.

Painting Wyatt's Bedroom!!

We took on the project of painting 2 walls in Wyatt's bedroom.  He has been telling us that he wanted to paint his room blue.  One wall is a dark blue.  These pictures are of Doug and Wyatt painting the other wall a dark green.  Wyatt got to choose the colors that he wanted.  His room turned out great.  It is definitely darker.  It made his room look taller as well.  We have some other walls in the house that we want to paint at some point but we wanted to start with Wyatt's room while he was on his Christmas break from school.

Blending Badge!!

Today Wyatt got his blending badge at school!!  He has been working on this for months.  He had to blend 2 letters together like a vowel and another letter.  It took him a little bit to catch on to blending.  I have been working on it at home with him and he has been practicing at school as well.  He did an awesome job practicing all of the blending letters on Monday or Tuesday so I e-mailed his teacher to test him.  His teacher tested him towards the end of class today.  He came home with his badge on.  He was so proud to show me when he got off the bus.  It was awesome that he got it done!!  I am so proud of him!!

Silly Kittens!!

 My silly cat sleeping.

Wyatt's cat named Puff Ball sleeping funny under the Christmas tree.

Here are some cute and silly photos of the kittens.  They love sleeping under the Christmas tree.  They also sleep in funny positions if you can tell.  My cat is the one with more white and some orange.  I named him Jinx.  Wyatt's cat is the one that is mostly orange with white paws.  He named his cat Puff Ball.

New Pets!!

We adopted these 2 cute kittens over the weekend.  I was planning on going in to get 1 new kitten but we decided that we couldn't adopt one and leave the other behind.  These 2 are brothers which makes it fun.  They are 11 weeks old.  The one that is white with some orange and short haired is mine and his name is Jinx.  The other kitten which is mostly orange with white paws is actually Wyatt's.  As soon as we decided to bring 2 home he said that it was his.  Wyatt still hasn't given it a name yet.  He keeps calling them kitty and will correct us if we call them a cat.  Wyatt has been really great with the kittens as well.  He plays with them, pets them, brushes them, checks on them throughout the day, etc.  He has been so excited to have his own kitten.  When his hamster died in October he asked when he was going to get a new pet.  He has been wanting a puppy for the longest time.  He wasn't originally thrilled to get  a kitten but now he has been enjoying it.  He has been a big help with the kittens.  The kittens have been loving the Christmas tree as well.  We had to put all of the gifts away so they wouldn't get destroyed.  It has been interesting getting adjusted to having kittens around again but it has been fun too.  Doug's allergies haven't been too bad.  We will see how that all turns out.  He has been great about getting kittens especially 2 of them.

City Creek Outing!!

Wyatt even got to have a visit with Santa.  We had to schedule our time to stop by but that is all that Wyatt wanted to do while we were there.  He got to sit on his lap, tell him what he wanted for Christmas, and Mrs. Claus even gave him a book which was "The Night Before Christmas"!!  We read it on the way home that night.  I quickly snapped a picture while I could since it cost a bunch to order one or have them take one.
This is Wyatt standing in front of one of the really neat fountains that they have there.  I think we counted that they had at least 6 fountains there plus a river that runs throughout the center of the mall with fish in some spots.  It is pretty neat.  It also looks like they have a spot for a splash pad for the summer time.

This last Saturday we decided to go check out the City Creek location.  It was pretty neat.  They had a huge Christmas tree there and decorated, they had a fun Disney store there, we went and had dinner and just checked everything out.  It was fun to get out for a family outing there.  It is quite the place.

These are some flowers that Doug brought home for me last Friday night.  It was a very sweet surprise.  Very thoughtful and sweet of him to do.  I wasn't expecting them at all.

New Niece!!

This is my newest niece Kaylie Mar Palma.  So cute.  She has a full head of black hair just like her dad Jake.  She is a very sweet baby.

Wyatt holding his new cousin Kaylie!!  He does so well with the little babies.  He really enjoys it.  He held her at least 3 or 4 times.  It was really cute.  He wanted to keep holding her.  He was really excited to see her.  Wyatt didn't get to see her in the hospital when she was born because he got strep the same day as she was born.  We just went to go see her earlier this week.  She was born on October 25th.

Wyatt's Sleeping Spots!!

This is where I found Wyatt one night fast asleep.  He had brushed his teeth and originally had fallen asleep with the toothbrush in his hand touching his nose.  I couldn't believe that he had fallen asleep on the top cushins of the couch.  It must be pretty comfy.

Halloween!!

Wyatt drinking rootbeer and decorating his cookie.

Doug and Wyatt aka Mario and Luigo.

Our carved pumpkins.

Wyatt and mom.

Halloween this year was so fun.  Wyatt woke up this morning saying he wished that it could be another Halloween day.  On Halloween, Wyatt was in a costume parade at his school (I don't have a decent picture from the parade, they were moving too quick), he had a Halloween party in his classroom which I was able to help plan out and help out in the classroom (they were divided into groups and rotated through 4 stations.  They had a story, played a game, made a craft which was a spider made out of their hand prints, and they had a treat which was ghost sugar cookies that they decorated themselves and rootbeer that I made.)  We carved pumpkins.  2 of them were from Grammy and Papa's garden and one was from our own garden that we carved.  We painted some of the smallerones.  Grammy and Papa came by to see Wyatt in his costume and brought him a fun treat bag.  Wyatt and Doug went out trick or treating for a bit with Wyatt's best friend Justin Clark and his brothers and one other friend, and I stayed home and handed out candy.  Then after a bit we traded so Doug stayed home and I took Wyatt trick or treating.  He went to so many houses that his treat bucket was full.  He was having a hard time carrying it because it was getting heavy.  Doug said that Wyatt and Justin were trick or treating so fast that they were running from door to door and were at least 2 doors ahead at times.  So it was a really fun Halloween!!

Karate Halloween Party!!

Wyatt getting ready to go to his first Costume/Halloween Party at his karate studio.

Wyatt and Justin before the party started.

Wyatt showing off his costume for the costume contest.

Trick or treating.

Wyatt went to his very first Costume Halloween Party at the place he takes karate from.  He got to invite a friend to come along so he brought his best friend Justin Clark.  They had such a fun time.  They had a costume contest.  Wyatt came in third so he won 35 ninja dollars that he gets to use towards prizes through karate.  He earns them every time he goes to class and collects them over time then turns them in.  At the party they also played games, then went trick or treating to his Sensei.  They kept going around in a circle until all of the candy ran out.  It took at least 30 minutes or more to go through all of the treats.  Wyatt and Justin had a great time.  When I asked them what their favorite part was they both said it was getting treats.  We are glad that Justin came along with him.

Wyatt's Hampster Dexter

Wyatt's pet hampster known as "Dexter" passed away either late last night or early this morning.  It was a sad afternoon in our house.  Wyatt has had a rough day.  This is a picture of where we buried him in our back yard.  I hadn't even thought of taking a photo but a good friend of mine suggested it.  Sorry it is a dark photo.  I took it tonight around 9:00pm.  Wyatt's best friend Justin came over and brought him some cookies to help cheer him up.  It was very thoughtful of him.  Wyatt has been missing Dexter a lot over the last few days.
