Playing Baseball with the Salt Lake Bees Players!!

 Wyatt stretching out.
Wyatt got to throw the ball back and forth with another child and then to one of the Bee's players.

This is in the locker room where the players get to work out and hang out.

Wyatt getting his baseball signed by the Bees Players!!

Since Wyatt was in Tee Ball this year he is in a club called the Knothole Club.  He gets a free ticket to a Bee's game, free meals at Denny's, etc.  We found out that since he is in this club the Salt Lake Bees do a couple of practice clinics.  We went up to one of the clinics on a Friday.  It was pretty neat.  6 of the Bees players volunteer their time to go over things with the kids.  They first introduced the players, then we went down on the field, they all stretched out, then went to different stations.  First Wyatt practiced throwing the ball back and forth to another child and then to the Bees player.  We then went inside and saw the locker room where the players hang out, work out, eat, etc.  Wyatt then got to go practice hitting the ball.  He then practiced catching fly balls.  He finished up catching ground balls.  It was pretty cool.  It was a 2 hour clinic.  They gave all of the kids who participated a hat from Denny's with a coupon too.  All of the players also did autographs as well.  It was a really fun day.

Fun Creatures in our back yard!!

Look what I found in our back yard one night around 9:30pm.  Doug and Wyatt had gone to a neighbors house and I was out in the back yard trying to get the cats inside.  I was holding Wyatt's cat at the time and walked just inches away from the snake.  It was crazy.  It definitely startled me.  I called Doug to come home and get it.  He thought it was a gardener snake.  It ended up hiding itself in our rock wall and we haven't seen it since.  This was was the week of the 4th of July.  The next morning after the whole snake thing Doug let out Wyatt's cat.  It ended up catching and killing a bird and putting it under our back deck.  There were feathers lying around everywhere so I figured something had happened.  Wyatt was the one who told me there was a dead bird under the deck.  Wyatt started freaking out at his cat thinking it was a bad thing.  We had to explain to him that that is what cats do.  They hunt things.  They have been very helpful in killing all of the flies in our house this summer.  It has been kind of a crazy month with animals.

Look, It's Super Kitty!!

Here is a fun photo of Wyatt's cat Puffball.  He really looks like a Super Kitty.
